Terms of Service

Rules for using the app

These Terms govern your use of Verlane. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Verlane is free to use at the time of writing. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If that changes, we will update these Terms and tell you in the app before anything takes effect.

Verlanehelps you build and tailor resumes, store career notes, and draft job-application materials using your own information. The tool is provided "as is" — we do not guarantee job outcomes.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and review AI suggestions before using them
  • Do not upload other people's personal data without permission
  • Do not use the service for unlawful purposes
  • You must be at least 16 years old

AI output

Suggestions are generated from your data but may contain errors. You are responsible for what you submit to employers. We never guarantee that tailored text meets a specific job requirement.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these Terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Veniamin Rybnikov is not liable for indirect damages or lost profits arising from use of the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Courts in Berlin have jurisdiction, where permitted. Confirm with a lawyer for consumer-facing subscriptions if you add paid plans later.
