The problem

Keyword tools write a resume you can't defend.

Most AI resume builders optimize for the scanner. They add skills you don't have and metrics you never measured. It gets past the filter and falls apart in the interview.

How Verlane helps

We ask before we suggest.

Verlane reads the job against your real experience, asks about the gaps one at a time, and only then proposes edits. If it's not on your resume or in your notes, it doesn't go in.

What you get

Every tool you need to get hired.

Not just formatting. A full application workflow that saves time and keeps you honest, built from the same pieces you see in the product.

  • Match score

    Ask before inventing

A note from the founder

I started this product when I was looking for a job myself, and every application took hours to tailor my particular experience to a particular position.

I believe the whole job-searching process is broken on both sides, and I want to change that status quo.

FAQ

Common questions.

Straight answers about ATS, AI honesty, and what Verlane does.

The match score is a transparent formula — keyword coverage, structure, and contact info — so you see the same math before and after edits. AI helps write suggestions from your real experience; the score itself isn't guessed. It's a fit check, not a guarantee of an interview.

No. Gap detection flags hard requirements (languages, certifications, years of experience) and asks you first. Suggestions only draw from your resume, Mindbase, and confirmed answers. If you say you don't have something, Verlane tailors honestly instead of padding.

Most tools generate text from a blank prompt. Verlane reads your stored resume and career notes, asks clarifying questions, and shows before/after diffs you accept one by one. The goal is a tailored resume you can defend in an interview — not generic AI filler.

Yes. After tailoring, ask for a cover letter or paste an application question in the same chat thread. Both use the same evidence as your resume — no re-uploading or starting over.
